I. Battery type and voltage
Lithium batteries used to power golf carts are typically of the lithium-ion type, including chemistries such as lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), lithium manganese oxide (LiMn2O4), lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2), and ternary materials (Li(NiCoMn)O2).
Among these, lithium iron phosphate batteries are highly favored due to their long cycle life and excellent safety performance.
To meet power requirements, these batteries generally operate at voltages of 36V or 48V.
II. Energy density and driving range
Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium power batteries for golf carts offer higher energy density, delivering a longer driving range and more sustained power.
Taking a two-seater golf cart as an example, a lithium-powered cart can achieve a driving range on a single charge that far exceeds that of a lead-acid model; furthermore, the battery experiences minimal performance degradation over time, ensuring a consistent driving range.

Lithium batteries are pollution-free and operate silently, meeting environmental standards and aligning with the eco-friendly ethos of golf.
